Isla Tortuga tour

Tortuga is a tiny tropical island in the Gulf of Nicoya. It offers extremely beautiful landscapes, abundant wildlife, and great snorkeling. If you can imagine Gilligan’s Island, you can imagine Isla Tortuga. Snorkeling tours to the island leave from Montezuma or the Curu Wildlife Refuge.

Montezuma Waterfalls and Canopy Tour

Montezuma Waterfalls

The town of Montezuma is located about thirty minutes from Santa Teresa. It is a wonderful combination of jungle, ocean, and freshwater. There are a series of three waterfalls that are all interconnected To reach them you must hike through the jungle along a river (a fifteen minute walk). The natural pool at the base of the waterfall is a refreshing and safe place for swimming. For a once in a lifetime thrill, jump off the second and third waterfalls which are forty feet and ten feet respectively.
